Brooke Watridge grew up competing in the junior jumpers and equitation with Bob Braswell and Christina Schlusemeyer at Quiet Hill Farm in Ocala, FL. She was a member of the Zone 4 Prix de States team at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show, and competed in all of the “Big Eq” finals at Devon, Harrisburg, Washington, DC, and Madison Square Gardens.
Chad Watridge grew up in Memphis, TN, and rode with, and eventually for, Randy Mullins. After his junior career, he rode with, or worked for, names such as Laura Kraut, Margie Goldstein-Engle, Howard Lewis, Frank Conway, Candice King, Bob Crandall, Ralph Caristo, and Jimmy Torano.
Both Brooke and Chad have learned from the best, and have created a model that allows horses and riders to excel.
Ridgewater Show Stables is just that, a show stable.
The focus is on competition.
We use a flatwork based system structured to prevent unnecessary wear and tear on the horse and to protect the owners’ investment. We travel to the Winter Equestrian Festival, Aiken Horse Park, and The Tryon International Equestrian Center throughout the course of the year. Our down time is spent in Anthony, FL where we focus on perfecting flatwork and fitness.
